Mike "Mad Dog" Groff, your guide, has been hunting groundhogs for over 30 years. He started hunting with his father at an early age and has been hooked since. He specializes in long distance shooting and routinely makes shots in excess of 600 yards, with his longest recorded shot measuring in at an impressive 805 yards.

Although Mike can hunt his 100 plus private properties and rack up amazing numbers, he chooses to share the experience with both seasoned varmint hunters and beginners alike. He especially enjoys the opportunity to introduce kids to the outdoors and varmint hunting.
